Ideas & Suggested Improvements: New Gold Championship Format

The current structure of the Gold Championships is under review and we are aiming to create a new format.
For those of you who are not aware the elite Gold Championships contain multiple national leagues running at the same time in a huge Game World, and you have the chance to manage a club from one of the 15 national leagues within the current format.
The proposed new format would contain the following leagues:
American League - 1 Division (with 14 clubs);
Argentine League - 1 Division (with 20 clubs);- Asian League - 2 Divisions (with 18 clubs per division);
Australian League - 1 Division (with 10 clubs);
Belgian League - 1 Division (with 18 clubs);
Brazilian League - 1 Division (with 20 clubs);
Dutch League - 1 Division (with 20 clubs);
English League - 5 Division (with 20 clubs per division);
French League - 2 Division (with 20 clubs per division);
German League - 3 Division (with 20 clubs per division);
Greek League- 1 Division (with 20 clubs);
Italian League - 3 Division (with 20 clubs per division);- Latin American League - 2 Divisions (with 20 clubs per division);
Mexican - 1 Division (with 18 clubs);
Russian League - 1 Division (with 20 clubs);
Scottish League - 4 Division (with 10 clubs per division);
Spanish League - 2 Division (with 20 clubs per division);
Turkish League - 1 Division (with 18 clubs);
Portuguese League - 2 Divisions (with 16 clubs per division).
Please feel free to suggest amendments to the above proposal for a new format for the elite Gold Championships.

If you are going to change the format (and I’m not sure it needs changing) I think you should avoid single division leagues as I think these are the ones that empty the quickest.
So I would make the following changes to the above format:-
1. Merge Holland and Belgium into one 2 division league
2. Merge Greece and Turkey into one 2 division league, maybe add teams for Cyprus and Egypt and call it The Mediterranean League
3. Add Argentina and Brazil to the proposed Latin America league and make it 3 or 4 divisions
4. Add Australia to the proposed Asian League and make it 3 divisions
5. Merge the Mexican and American leagues into a 2 division North America League
6. Expand the Russian league into 2 divisions and add other eastern european teams.

I think that Andrews idea is a good idea. It also adds a bit more competion as some countries have some rivalries.

Great idea, but why dont you get separate Polish league into it as well, since its already on your database? Ill be delighted about it, so other polish players i’d say
