Ideas & Suggested Improvements: International Management in Gold Championships

Yesterday I wrote an article about how ‘Gold is the Colour‘, and within the article I stated:

SoccerManager.com constantly strive to make the elite Gold Championsip setups more unique, and in the coming months we will be introducing…

Super Cup;
SMFA Gold Super Cup;
International Management;
International Club Tournaments;
Adding extra national leagues;
and many more exciting new features to make the elite Gold Championsip setups more unique!

So the debate on which setups should have international management and tournaments is over as we have decided to only add this feature to our elite Gold Championships.

However, at this stage we have not yet decided how to introduce this feature, how it would be implemented or similar, and we are only at the drawing board if you like.

Over the past twelve months I have created two articles called ‘International Management‘ and ‘International Standard Setups‘ and these will form a basis of ideas for design along with numerous threads from the SM Forum which have been created within the ‘Suggestions & Improvements‘ board.

As I have stated this idea is only at the drawing board stage at the moment. Whilst it is at this stage you are welcome to offer your own ideas and suggestions on how it could be implemented within the elite Gold Championships, and you are free to look at the above articles for ideas which I have mentioned and also for feedback which people have left.

I think it should be for everyone personally or atleast some of the proposed ideas, but then again maybe it’s because i’m not gold…

If they made it available for everyone it would mean that the 8,000 odd or so have wasted there money on nothing.

Because I believe most GM’s become GM’s because they want to participate in the GC’s. And if these became available to the normal members it would mean me personally and I think many others have wasted there money on nothing.

So I seriously doubt what your hoping for is going to happen.

Hola, in gold it is hard to get a team. How meny teams will be able to manage in internacinal?

i meant how meny internacinal will be avalibel cause its hard to get one team in the gold. maybe you should make 2 leagues at a time cause i much want to manage Espana.

I reckon you should make it available for everyone. But like the suggested payment for an extra club slot, you should have the option to pay for an international club slot.

keep it to just the Golds, gives an incentive to buy a membership otherwise whats the point in me spending money on a membership

If You Create MOre Than 1 International Setup I Feel It Will Lose Its Appeal,

I’ve Made My Ideasm, Feeling Etc Etc On The Thread In The Forum..

Main Points If I Can Remember Would Have Been To Start With:

1 International Championship
ALL Countries To Be Added
For Real Life Regions, Qualifycation Tournements Etc, Olmypic U-23 Type Games, UInder Age Events MAybe Up to, U-18 -21, U23* Full International…
Regional Tournements Liek Euros- Copa America- Caribeen Cup Etc..
Rankings TO Be Included

Many Many Ideas To Be Incorperated, I Just Hope SM Take There Time & Make It As Professional As Possible

this is a great idea but only do it for gold members

i think(say i managed england) you should have a 1st team

under 21s

under 19s

under 16s

like that and you can bring the youngsters through and play them i the 1st team

and you should have friendlys aswell

International teams should be made available for all setups but only gold members can toke over.

a great idea should be fun ……. but as with the gold set ups i suppose we will get the moaners on saying its not fair i cannot get brazil and argentina.
another great idea guys bring it on i would like to think most countries should be able to get a decent team together.

I would like the option to request a job with a national team. So that way when the job becomes open I have a better chance of getting a request from that team. Just a thought.

What i would like to see in the international managments are tables so you can view where you are in the table in the group stages and how everyone else is doing in other groups

I think this international management should only be allowed for gold members to ensure they get there money’s worth

I think also you should do a under21 managment
