Ideas & Suggested Improvements: Best Clubs Available in Gold Championships

We encourage members of our community to send us any ideas or suggestions they may have, and since the launch of SM some of these have been incorporated into the site.

An idea we have recently received is one which we can look into and possible incorporate in the near future and it is as follows:

“It is very difficult to get a good club in the gold championship. it is also very difficult to find available clubs. to do that you have to search every gold championship. As gold championships are unique most managers prefer a good club in a gold championship than in a custom or standard setup. my suggestion is to introduce a best clubs available in gold championships on the gold championship page. similar to the best clubs available list on the setup page. only this list should only show available clubs from gold championships and not the rest of the setups.”

By incorporating this into the site it should help our Gold Members find an unmanaged club more easily, and this has many benefits which I will not go into at this stage.

Good improvement if it is introduced, still won’t stop me from getting top GC sides though.

i posted this to SM ages ago … but didnt quite explain fully .. would be a good idea but bad at the same time because it would be easier to get top clubs and thats the whole point there harder to get good clubs in gc’s :/ i like it tho

It is a great idea and i hope it is implemented ASAP.

But it has been seven days since this blog post and no action has been taken. Any ideas as to how long this make to come into use??

It shouldn’t be that defficult. they already have a best clubs available list. they could just copy and reprogram it only to show gold championships.

i was thinking the other day maybe for other gold championships instead of the chelseas and man us getting let out straight away maybe the top 10 ge toffered to a gold member thats active i seen some people with 5 barcelonas in gold championships

people get about 20 of the same team so some could go to the others of us without good gold mems teams

i think top clubs like man u,chelsea,barca real madrid etc should be only avalable for high rep managers cos in one of the goldchampionships im in 3 of those 4 are managed by gold members with reps of 42,47 and 53 and it not real fair on the good managers with reps of 80+ or something

I’ve been a gold member now for a while and still I’m yet to manage a gold champioship team. This being because all the teams are gone in seconds. The decent teams anyway.
Could I make a suggestion that if someone already has gold championship teams they have last pickings or those gold members who don’t even have a team like myself get first pickings when new gold championships open. Even with a £2.99 fee to reserve a team, there’s nothing there worthwhile.
