Huddersfield Town have emulated what Preston North End and Arsenal did in 1888-89 and 2003-04 repectively, and have just finished their first season in English Championship 2374 unbeaten after 38 league games!

Grant Ball tells us of his story that has resulted in his Huddersfield Town being dubbed ‘The Invincibles’:

Gary Townsend took control of Notts County, a Division 5 team in Gold Championship 46, 16 matches into the season after the previous manager had resigned leaving them well placed with a good record of 11-4-1.

Following a great run of form in the Scottish Shield, St. Mirren, managed by James Wright, lifted the trophy after beatings Rangers on penalties.

The small Scottish side overcame a number of odds to raise the Scottish Shield above their heads.

How do you measure success within a Gold Championship? Is winning the title with Rangers more of a success then say finishing runners-up with Queen’s Park within the Scottish league?

On Saturday night Simon Son of Plutos’ (SOPs) Real Madrid side claimed their four successive title in Gold Championship 7 (GC7).

It is an achievement for any manager to claim silverware in the elite Gold Championships, however, to win four successive league titles needs some praise.

Last Friday Mexican club UNAM lifted the prestigious SMFA Cup by beating Borussia Dortmund 1-0.

Their manager Paul Bamber was estatic after his victory, and got in touch with us so that the rest of our community could hear about his success:

Last Friday Mexican club UNAM lifted the prestigious SMFA Cup by beating Borussia Dortmund in the final within Gold Championship 7, and the Pumas became only the second ever non-European club to win the tournament (the list of winners can be found within this link).

I took the challenge of managing my home town team in the Gold Championship 11, I did what I thought was bet and traded in as many of my average players for a team of older, slightly better players, and the odd youngster I could afford (for any cup games - forget about the cup if you want promotion or take on the cup for cash).
